The Cormac Trust Charity
The Cormac Trust Charity is close to our hearts because four years ago, a friend of mine, Cathal Forde, died while hurling training on the Hurling Field in Highgate from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). Our mission is to raise awareness of this condition so more screening can happen, continue the Cormac Trust’s genetic heart research program, and provide defibrillators to playing fields in both Ireland and the UK. MS Ireland is also close to the Kilburn Gaels Hurling Club as one of our players was diagnosed with this condition three years ago at the age of 28. We are raising awareness and funds for the continued advances in the treatment of this debilitating condition. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for these important causes. Any donations would be greatly appreciated; please visit our go fund link.
Thank you for your Support
Brian Forde
