80 CYCLISTS COMPLETED 400 MILE CHARITY CYCLE
400 mile Charity Cycle to raise awareness to SADS and honour Cathal Forde, who died from SADS in 2012, reached Galway today. Cathal’s brothers Liam, Niall and Sean, and cousin Brian all participated. Proceeds raised will go to the ‘Cormac Trust’ and MS Ireland. The Cormac Trust is a charity set up following the sudden death of former Tyrone footballer Cormac McAnallen in 2004.
Gerry Boots said, “I am happy to be part of this. Last year my friend and I cycled more than 1700 miles for London Ambulance. I believe we created enough interest, and we help raise money for future research to prevent SADS. I want to thank my colleagues at EU Signs Ltd for putting their time and effort in sign-writing sponsor logos on our safety van.”
